Complaints.
The process if something is not right, and where to take it next.
Last updated · 25 April 2026
We take complaints seriously. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your matter, here’s how we work through it with you.
Step 1 · Talk to us first
The fastest way to resolve any concern is to raise it with us directly. Email admin@altioraadvisory.com.au, call +61 7 5620 3540, or contact your engagement partner. We will acknowledge your complaint within two business days and aim to resolve it within fifteen business days.
Step 2 · Escalate within the firm
If you are not satisfied with our initial response, you can request the matter be reviewed by both partners. A different partner will review the original handling and respond within ten business days of the escalation.
Step 3 · External resolution
If we cannot resolve the matter to your satisfaction, you may take it to one of the following bodies:
- Tax services complaints: Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), in writing through its online form at tpb.gov.au/complaints. You can check our registration on the TPB public register; see Information for clients.
- Accounting services complaints: Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), charteredaccountantsanz.com, or Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), publicaccountants.org.au
- Privacy complaints: Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), oaic.gov.au
